Fn+Num Lk or
Shift+Num Lk does
not turn the internal
NumLock on.
When typing, some
of the letter keys
return numbers to
the screen.

stopped responding

The internal
keyboard NumLock
is disabled when an
external PS/2
keyboard or keypad
is present.
The NumLock
feature is turned on.
TouchPad needs to
be cleaned.
Solutions
Solution
Use the TouchPad to
shut down the
Windows operating
system . Your
notebook will turn
itself off.
If your notebook
does not shut down,
press and hold down
ª
the Power
button
until your notebook
turns off.
Use the keypad on
the external
keyboard or unplug
the external
keyboard to use the
internal keypad
feature.
Press the Fn or Shift
key while pressing
the Num Lk key to
turn NumLock off.
Wipe the TouchPad
with a damp cloth
and then wipe it dry.
