• Photos cannot be recorded simultaneously while the digital zoom or a
digital effect is activated.
• In
mode, when the IS mode is set to [P Dynamic], if you zoom
in to full telephoto you can record video using a zoom ratio larger than
15x. Photos taken simultaneously at that time, however, will show a
maximum zoom ratio of 15x so the video and the photo will not show
exactly the same picture.

Light Metering Mode

The camcorder measures the light reflected from the subject in order to
calculate the optimal exposure settings. Depending on the subject, you
may want to change the way the light is measured and evaluated.
