How does the Wayfinder V2000
work?
Developed by PNI Corporation for
the U.S. military, the patented mag-
netic sensor technology, called mag-
neto-inductive, is the greatest advance
by

in compass technology in 60 years.
It senses the difference between the
magnetic fields of the earth and your
vehicle, then electronically subtracts
the latter to display accurate compass
readings. This superior performance is
achieved with reduced power consump-
tion and at a lower cost. The technol-
ogy is so advanced, it has been adopted
for compasses in GM, Ford, and Chrys-
ler automobiles, Polaris jet skis, Bay-
liner boats, and Timex watches.
