I N S T A L L A T I O N I N S T R U C T I O N S
This appliance shall only be installed by an authorized person. This appliance shall be installed in accordance
with the manufactures installation instructions.
IMPORTANT: this appliance must be installed in accordance with the norms in force of the country concerned.
The installation of this appliance must conform to local codes and ordinances.
The appliance , when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or, in absence
of local codes, with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
Check and ensure that the supply voltage matches the voltage given on the specifi cation plate.
The electrical connections must satisfy local house installation regulations. The valid, national and local
electrical regulations must be observed.
This induction appliance is equipped with a mains cable which can be connected with the necessary plug to
the socket. The connector must be easily accessible to disconnect the unit from the net.
This induction unit is equipped with an air cooling system. Make sure that the air supply and air exhaust are
not blocked (wall, fabric, etc).
The induction unit must not be placed near a hot surface.
The operating staff has to make sure that installation, support and inspection is done by qualifi ed personnel.
The cooker is protected against excessive overheating, so it may be installed next to furniture with a height
no higher than that of the worktop. To install the cooker correctly, take the following precautions.
A. Any furniture in teh vicinity of the cooker with a height higher than that of the worktop must be at least 2
inch from the edge of the top.
B. The extractor hood must be installed in the way indicated in its instructions booklet, and always at a
minimum distance of 25"
C. If the cooker is installed under a wall unit, the minim distance between this unit and the worktop must be

Do not drag the cooker as this will bend the supporting feet. Lift the appliance when positioning it.
E L E C T R I C A L C O N N E C T I O N
The installation of the electricity must be fi tted by approved installation
contractors in accordance with specifi c national and local installation in
conformity with all safety regulations. The warning signs and rating plates on
the appliances must strictly be followed.
This unit is manufactured for a polarized, grounded 120/240 volt 60Hz (2
phases 6 AWG, 1 neutral 8 AWG, 1 ground 8 AWG 0with plug, see Fig. A).
Check and ensure that the supply voltage and the line current matches the
specifi cations given on the rating plate.
Before connecting the appliance to the electric network, follow the instructions
below:
• fuse and electric feeding installation of your home must support the load of
the appliance (see registration label);
• power supply system must have an effi cient earth plate;
• the outlet or multiple-switch, with 1"
has to be easily reached once the appliance has been installed;
• the power supply cable should not reach a 120°F temperature.
