INSTALLATION: In the USA this furnace MUST be installed in accordance with the latest edition of
the ANSI Z223.1 booklet entitled "National Fuel Gas Code" (NFPA 54), and the requirements or
codes of the local utility or other authority having jurisdiction. In Canada this furnace must be installed
in accordance with the current CAN/ CGA-B149.1 & 2 Gas I n stallation Codes, local plumbing or
waste water codes and other applicable codes.
ANNUAL inspection of the furnace and it's vent system are strongly recommended. It is the installer's
responsibility to inform the user of this importance.

These furnaces meet the California NOX emission standards and the California efficiency standards.
The GSM & GSMS furnace may be installed as either a Direct Vent or Non-Direct Vent Furnace.
These furnaces are designed to be an UPFLOW or HORIZONTAL furnace. The following sketch
