4-6-12. MIC 2 Demodulation Adjustment

Perform this adjustment only
after replacing IC401/1LV401/
1LV402 on the TR-133B
board.
Measuring instruments: Oscilloscope, Audio generator
Extended board: TR-133B board
Preparation:
. Input 1 kHz/2.2 mV p-p (_60 dBu) sine wave signal
from the audio generator to the AUDIO CH-2 IN
connector of CA-590/590P.
. Set the AUDIO CH-2 input select switch on the CA-590/
590P rear panel to REAR/MIC (center).

Measurement point: TP401 (GND: E300)/TR-133B
board
Adjustment procedure:
1. Connect the oscilloscope probe to TP401 (GND:
E300) on the TR-133B board. Then turn the 1LV401
(6.7M TUNE1) core slowly to reach 1.24 ± 0.01 V dc
while watching the oscilloscope screen.
2. Set the oscilloscope INPUT (AC/DC) mode to "AC",
and adjust the 1LV402 (6.7M TUNE2) core to
minimize the carrier.
3. Perform steps 1 and 2 repeatedly to meet the specifica-
tions in 1 and 2.
