4. Remove the belt from the spindle pulley (Fig. 710).
7. Remove the deck brake assembly spring (Fig. 711).

8. Lift or turn the mower deck over to access the
underside.
9. Block the blade and remove the nut from the mower
deck spindle assembly (Fig. 712).
