SPARK P LUG M AINTENANCE:
1. Remove S park P lug C ap ( refer t o " Spark P lug C ap R emoval" f igure b elow.)
2. Remove S park P lug w ith s ocket a nd h andle s upplied w ith y our u nit ( refer t o
"Spark P lug R emoval" f igure b elow.)
3. Clean a ny c arbon b uild-­‐up a round t he S park P lug.
4. Check t he S park P lug G ap a nd a djust i f n ecessary. 0 .30-­‐inch g ap.
5. Lubricate t he t hreads o f t he S park P lug w ith a nti-­‐seize c ompound o r e ngine o il.
6. Re-­‐install t he S park P lug a nd S park P lug C ap.

FUEL S YSTEM M AINTENANCE:
NOTE: P eriodically y ou c an g et s ediment o r t rash i n y our C arburetor B owl. U se t he
following p rocedures t o c lean:
1. Turn t he f uel c ock ( valve) t o t he " OFF" P osition.
2. Remove t he c arburetor b owl b y r emoving t he m ounting b olt l ocated a t t he
bottom o f t he b owl.
3. Dump o ut t he o ld f uel a nd s ediment i nto a n a pproved c ontainer a nd c lean
carburetor b owl t horoughly.
4. Fit a n ew r ubber w asher i nto p lace a nd r e-­‐attach f uel b owl t o t he c arburetor.
NOTE: R emoval o f t he d rain s crew a t t he b ottom o f t he b owl c an d rain t he f uel t o
remove s maller d ebris t hat h as c ollected i n t he b owl.
5. After b owl i s s ecurely b ack i n p lace, t urn t he f uel c ock ( valve) t o t he " ON"
position f or u se.
6. Units e quipped w ith a p re-­‐filter f or f uel w ill h ave a f ilter h oused j ust b elow t he
fuel c ock. R emove t he f uel f ilter e lement ( refer t o " Fuel F ilter E lement R emoval"
