a) Once you have assigned a function to the assignable 1 or 2 button, label the button with the supplied
function label to prevent erroneous operation.

Before changing a function to be assigned to the assignable 1 or 2 button, check if the status of the
currently assigned function on the camera (ON/OFF status and adjustment value) is identical to what
you intended. This is why the status of that function may not be controlled from both the Remote
Control Unit and the camera after its assignment has been released.
b) To perform this function, press and hold the assignable 1 button for one second or more.
