- Page 8 ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 3. Gas Tank Assembly The propane gas and cylinder are sold separately. Use a standard 1.02 lb. propane cylinder only. Store the appliance indoors only if the cylinder is disconnected and removed from the appliance. A cylinder must be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated orientation to provide area out of the reach of children.

Fix the 1.02 lb. propane cylinder to the regulator (rotate the propane cylinder clockwise toward the regulator connecting until tight). Close the door plate and lock it with the handle. Disconnect the cylinder when the appliance is not used.
