Fluid Level Inspection
Refer to Safety Precautions on page 69.
Brake Fluid Level
If your inspection indicates a low fluid level, have your Honda dealer
add the recommended fluid.
The brake fluid level will drop as the brake pads wear.
Do not add or replace brake fluid, except in an emergency. If you do add
fluid, have your Honda dealer check the system as soon as possible.
Brake fluid can damage plastic and painted surfaces. Handle with care.
Check the fluid level on level ground.
1. Open the front hood (page 82).
2. Slide the brake fluid reservoir tank cap cover a little to visible MAX
level mark. But never remove the brake fluid reservoir tank cap cover.

MIN
It should be between the MIN and MAX level marks. If the level is at or
below the MIN level mark, check the brake pads for wear (page 130).
3. Return the brake fluid reservoir tank cap cover to its normal position.
