8. To retract the ZipConnect™ cable, pull on the cable with a
quick tug and then allow it to automatically spool back into
the module.
Changing the ZipConnect
1. To replace the included ZipConnect™ module with a module
specific to your iPod, insert a dime or similar flat object into
the slot and lift off the ZipConnect™ cover. (See illustration
below).

2. Grasp the housing of the ZipConnect™ module and pull it
straight up and out from the built in ZipConnect™ sleeve.

3. Slide the replacement ZipConnect™ module into the sleeve
and replace the cover.
Note: The ZipConnect™ module can only fit into the sleeve one
way. If the module does not easily slide into the sleeve, rotate the
ZipConnect™ around and insert it the other way.
4. The module for the iPod and iPod mini connects via the 30-pin
connector. The module for the iPod shuffle connects via the
USB port. Both modules also charge the iPod's internal battery
as you play music.
Note: Charging occurs whether the audio console power is on or off.
