Grasp the top and bottom handles of the lamp assembly and pull the assembly
straight out of the projector (Figure 4-5). Pull firmly while keeping the assembly
level.

Place the old lamp assembly in the new lamp box and send it to your nearest
Electrohome service depot for re-lamping (see back cover of this manual).
Make sure the lamp is packed properly and label the carton "freight collect" for
free shipping.
NOTE: Your voluntary participation in this relamping program is
strongly encouraged, and helps ensure that Electrohome can
continue to offer economical replacement lamps having the same
warranty as new. Once you have returned a used lamp, you are
entitled to the purchase of an economical "re-lamped" lamp module.

With the lamp lens facing the projector, align the lamp assembly with the lamp
compartment — handles are on the top and bottom. Carefully slide the assembly
into the projector (Figure 4-6). When it feels as though it is in place, push very
firmly once more to ensure that the unit is properly seated as far back as
possible.
