Cause
Clean scanner window with a soft, wet cloth.

Tap on Start, then Settings → Control Panel,
and select the System tab to verify whether the
unit is loaded with a scanning application or not.
Scan engine cannot read damaged barcodes.
Adjust
approximately 6 inches, and try again.
Check whether your PDA is programmed to read
the type of barcode you are scanning.
