marked with green color-coding.
When you plug a device into it, the multi-function
audio jack automatically senses what type of device is
connected.
The audio line-out jack on the port replicator only pro-
vides unamplified audio output. Attaching output de-
vices that do not amplify audio (such as headphones)
to the audio line-out jack on the port replicator is not
recommended.
Adjusting the sound volume
You can control the audio output volume using the
standard volume control in the Windows system tray
or from within most Windows applications that pro-
vide audio playback.
You can also control the audio volume using the built-
in volume control keys located near the front of the
FlipStart keyboard
. To adjust the volume up or
down, press the volume key, and use the Jog Dial to
make adjustments. To mute the audio, press the mute
key.
Controlling audio playback
Your FlipStart includes dedicated keys and buttons
to control audio playback in most media playback
applications in Windows. These keys are located on
the front of the keyboard, and additional buttons are
located on the right side of the lid. You can control
music playback as you would with any audio device.
There are four buttons on the front of the FlipStart
keyboard used to control audio playback.
