our FlipStart provides multiple ways to enjoy the
audio capabilities of Windows and Windows pro-
grams, including:
An internal speaker.
Two internal microphones.
A multi-function audio input/output jack.
An audio line-out jack on the port replicator.
A special set of ear buds that function as
both headphones and a microphone.
Dedicated audio playback controls on the
keyboard and on the side of the screen.
Audio volume controls on the keyboard.
About the audio jacks
The FlipStart provides two audio jacks:
A multi-function audio jack on the
FlipStart that you can use for either
audio input (with the supplied ear
buds/microphone) or audio output.
An audio line-out jack on the port
replicator (available only when the
port replicator is attached).
The multi-function audio jack on the FlipStart can
provide audio input, audio output, or both simul-
taneously with certain audio devices, including the
bundled ear buds/microphone. This jack is located
