• Auto: display images automatically. In the Auto menu,
you can select the duration for each image to appear.
• Manual: allows you to view slides manually.

Synchronizing to the SideShow device

You can use Windows Media Player in Windows Vista to
synchronize your music and image files to the SideShow device,
and play these media files no matter when your Joybook is on,
off, or in Sleep mode.
1. In Music Player or SlideShow Player, select the Switch to
Media Sync option, and then press OK.
A message appears indicating that the device is now in Media
Sync mode, and you can only transfer files in sync mode.
If you want to cancel the synchronization, press OK again.
2. Launch Windows Media Player in Windows Vista. The
SideShow device will appear on the screen (shown as BenQ
Q41 Series).
If you have connected an external storage device, such as a
USB flash drive or MP3 player, to your Joybook, Windows Media

Player may detect that connected device in first priority. Click
"Next Device" to find "BenQ Q41 Series".
3. Under the Sync tab, select the music files that you want to
sync to the SideShow device.
