Connecting to a UIP-256

Connect the 10-
pin cable of the
UIP-256 to the 10-
pin connector of
the Magellan
console
UIP-256

Programmer

X10 Transmitter Connections (MG-6160 only)

1. Connect one end of the inverted
4-pin RJ-11 cable into the X10
plug of the console.
2. Connect the other end of the
inverted 4-pin RJ-11 cable into the
X10 transmitter.
3. Plug the X10 transmitter into a
standard wall outlet.
For information on
programming the X10
features of Magellan, refer to
the X10 Operation User
Guide which can be found
and downloaded for free
from our Web site at
paradox.com.
X10 devices (transmitters,
modules, etc.) are not
supplied and cannot be
purchased through Paradox

the X10 transmitter. Note the pin
