If you do not wish to use the unit for an extended period of time please:
• Turn the unit off, unplug it and tidy AC cord.
• Completely empty the water tank and wipe it clean, allow it to dry thoroughly
before replacing it.
• Cover the unit and store it away from direct sunlight or other sources of heat.
TROUbLE SHOOTiNg
Never try to repair or dismantle the dehumidifier yourself. Incompetent repairs result in loss of warranty
and can endanger both the user and property..
Problem
The dehumidifier does
not function.
The dehumidifier does
not seem to perform.
The unit seems to do
little.
The unit is too noisy.
The unit is leaking.
To correct problems that have not been described in the table and/or if the recommended solutions fail
to solve the problem, contact an authorised service centre.
Disposal
Waste electrical and electronic products must not be disposed of with household waste. Please
refer to the retailer from whom you purchased this item for disposal instructions.
Batteries and packaging materials should be recycled using local facilities.
Cause
Is the unit plugged in?
Is the house electricity on?
Is the room temperature below
5 ° C or above 35 ° C?
Is the water tank full indicator
lit?
Is the filter dusty, contaminated
?
Is the air intake or outlet
blocked?
Is the room humidity already
quite low?
Are too many windows or doors
open?
Is there something in the room
producing lots of humidity?
Solution / Comments
Connect to a functioning mains power
outlet and switch on.
If so, then it is out of the working range of
the unit.
Check the water tank is positioned properly
in the unit and it is not full.
Clean the filter.
Clean the air intake or outlet.
Prove the dehumidifier works by selecting
the "Max" position with the humidistat.
Check whether the unit is sitting on a level
surface.
Make sure the unit is in good shape.
If you are not using continuous drainage,
make sure the rubber plug (at the bottom
of the unit) is in its position.
