DMX Cabling

DMX cabling can be used along with D-Fi™ transmission, or instead of D-Fi™ transmission, for
products that are not D-Fi™ compatible. To use DMX cabling connect the DMX cable from DMX Out
of the board to DMX In of the first product in the rig.
Then connect another DMX cable from DMX Out of the first product in the rig to DMX In of the next
product.
Continue connecting until all the products are connected.

D-Fi™ D-Fi™ communication can be used alone, or incombination with DMX cabling. Products that are
D-Fi™ compatible receive D-Fi™ signal directly from the Obey™ 40 D-Fi 2.4, and products that

require DMX cabling can be connected to D-Fi™ distribution products, such as D-Fi™ Hub and
D-Fi™ Stream 6 which receive the D-Fi™ signal and send it out via DMX cables.
Products that require DMX cables can also be connected directly to the Obey™ 40 D-Fi 2.4 as
shown above in DMX Cabling Diagram.
