File Names

Images, movies, or voice memos are assigned file names as follows.
Identifier (not shown on camera monitor)
Original still images (voice
memo attachment
included) and movies
Small copies (voice memo
attachment included)
Cropped copies (voice
memo attachment
included)
Images created by an
image editing function
other than small picture or
crop* (voice memo
attachment included), and
movies created by the
movie editing function
* Including images edited using the quick effects function (A32) in A (auto)
mode
Voice memo file names have the same identifier and file number as the
image to which the voice memo is attached.
