• Apply THREAD LOCK SUPER "1303" to the intake pipe bolts.
• Install the intake pipe and tighten the bolts to the specified
torque.
NOTE:
Make sure that the "up mark" A comes to the upper side.
* 99000-32030: THREAD LOCK SUPER "1303"
" Intake pipe bolt: 9 N·m (0.9 kgf-m, 6.5 Ib-ft)

AUTOMATIC DECOMP.

Inspect the decomp. control arm 1 moves smoothly and
decomp. cam 2 rotates together. If any abnormal condition are
found, replace the camshaft assembly.

matic decomp. assembly. It is not serviceable.
CAM WEAR
• Inspect the camshaft for wear or damage.
• Measure the cam height H with a micrometer.
& Cam height H
Service Limit (IN) 33.15 mm (1.3051 in)
(EX) 33.17 mm (1.3059 in)
% 09900-20202: Micrometer (25 – 50 mm)
CAMSHAFT JOURNAL WEAR
• Determine whether or not each journal is worn down to the
limit by measuring the oil clearance with the camshaft
installed in place.
• Use the plastigauge to read the clearance at the widest por-
tion, which is specified as follows:
