Caution about renewing packaging
How to erase the opening screen
Instructions on how to return the camera to its factory default condition are listed
Follow the directions below for deleting the opening screen registration:
1. Open the card cover.
2. Insert the USB cable into the camera and your PC.
3. Make sure the camera is powered, either through DC-In or batteries.
4. Turn the camera on while pressing the DISP button.
5. Confirm that there is no B/W LCD or LCD display (back light is on).
6. Turn the camera's power off in this state. (Wait 3sec.)
7. Shut the card cover.
8. Remove the USB cable.
9. Turn the power on again.
10. If "Set Date?" is displayed operation was successful.
