Symptom
The red warning indicator
DOOR OPEN is flashing; the
warning tone is sounding
The red warning indicator
ALARM OFF is flashing; the
warning tone is sounding
All the lamps are flashing
and a warning tone is
sounding
Interior illumination does
not function.
Water in the vegetable
drawer
Steam is developing on the
appliance.
The compressor does not
start immediately after
changing the temperature
setting or after pressing
the FROSTMATIC button.
Noise
If after the above checks there is still a fault, call your local AEG Service
Force Centre.
In-guarantee customers should ensure that the above checks have been
made as the engineer will make a charge if the fault is not a
mechanical or electrical breakdown.
Please note that proof of purchase is required for in-guarantee service
calls.
Possible Cause
The freezer door has been
open for longer than
1 minute and/or the fridge
door has been open for
longer than 4 minutes.
Temperature warning
A fault in the appliance
Light bulb is defective.
Wet vegetables have been
stored
High level of moisture in
the appliance.
This is normal, no error has
occurred.
Appliance is not level.
Something not Working
Solution
Switch off the warning
tone using the DOOR OPEN
button. Do not leave the
door open for longer than
is necessary.

Please contact AEG Service
Force. Do not open the
appliance doors again.
Please refer to "Replace
Light Bulb" section.
Throw out the water and
store the vegetables again.
Occurs when foods are
stored that have a high
moisture content. This does
not affect the functioning
of the appliance.
The compressor starts after
a period of time.
Readjust the front levelling
feet.
