With the help of the following notes, minor faults in the performance of this
machine, some of which may result from incorrect operation, can be put right
without contacting the Service Department.

Repair work to electrical appliances should only be carried out by a
suitably qualified person in strict accordance with current local and national
safety regulations. Repairs and other work by unqualified persons could be
dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for unauthorised work.

The programme does not start

Problem
The display remains
dark.
You are asked to
enter a code.
The display and the
sensors are not lit
up and the Start
sensor is flashing.
Possible cause
There is no power to
the machine.
Access via a code
has been activated.
To save energy the
display and sensor
illumination switches
off automatically.

Problem solving guide

Remedy
Check whether
– the mains plug is plugged in
and switched on.
– the fuse or circuit breaker has
tripped.
Enter the code and confirm the
entry. Deactivate the code if you
do not wish this message to
appear in the display the next time
the machine is switched on.
Touch the Start sensor briefly. The
display and sensors will light up.
