Using the Audio Player

The audio player in your LDS-1990 is a
versatile jukebox that you can use to
play many kinds of audio fi les, including
mp3 and Audible™ format audio books.
Music and audio books will keep
playing, even if you leave the audio
player to look up a word. And if you
want to pause, stop, or even advance to
the next fi le, just press the audio keys,
located on the side of the device. You
do not have to open the audio player
fi rst.
Note: If a fi le is playing, and you want to
listen to a word or phrase from a book,
fi rst pause or stop the fi le, then press
.
Selecting a File

Any available audio fi les are
displayed.

Using the Audio Player
The audio player opens and begins
playing the selected fi le.
The name of the selected fi le is listed
at the top of the screen. Beneath the
title is a progress bar indicating the
progress of the track and how much
time has elapsed.
Another way to open the audio
player is by pressing
time and from any location.
Your list of audio fi les is displayed
below the progress bar. Press
to highlight a diff erent fi le and press
EINGABE to hear it.
