I Settings
(Menu 4)
In this menu you can
adjust various settings of the phone.
You can also reset some menu
settings to their default values by
choosing
Restore factory

Screen saver (Menu 4-1)

Note: Your phone must be
switched on to use this
function. Do not switch on
the phone when wireless
phone use is prohibited or
when it may cause
interference or danger.
To turn on the screen saver, enter
this menu and choose On. The screen
saver will be displayed when the
phone is in the standby mode for a
certain period of time ("time-out").
To change the time after which the
screen saver will be displayed in the
standby mode, choose Timeout, then
choose the time from the list.
To change the screen saver picture,
choose
Screen
saver.
Date and time screen
savers: You can choose the
date and time screen savers
in the normal screen savers.
Then the time, date and day
will be shown on the display
and you can view them
conveniently.

pictures, see the
function in "Browsing the pages of a
WAP service" on page 37.
3D animated screen savers:
To change the text of the
flying text screen saver,
settings.
press Options and choose
Edit.

Tones (Menu 4-2)

In this menu you can change the
settings of the currently selected
profile and create ringing tones of
your own.
Ringing
tone: You can set the
tone that you hear when you
receive a call.
Ringing
volume: You can set the
volume level for the ringing and
message alert tones.
Incoming call
select the way the phone notifies
you of incoming voice calls. For
example, when
the phone stays silent when you
receive a call.
• Composer: You can create your
own ringing tones. Select the
tone that you want to edit and
