M e n u f u n c t i o n s
• As reminder: When you select
this option, the message will
be copied to Reminders
you have added a new
reminder. The phone goes
automatically to the new
reminder so that you can
further edit it.
Note that if the length of text
message exceeds the
maximum length of a
reminder, the exceeding part
cannot be copied to the
reminder.
Viewing a message you have
saved (Outbox: Menu 01-3)
In the Outbox menu you can view
the messages that you have saved in
the Write messages menu (Menu
01-1). Press Options for the
following: Erase, Edit, Use
As reminder, Forward.

Chat (Menu 01-4)

Start a chat either by selecting this
menu, or by choosing the
the Options list when reading a
received text message. Follow the
instructions below if you start from
this menu; skip step 1 if you start in
the other way.
1. Key in the other person's phone
number or recall it from the
phone book, and press OK.

If you wish to chat with the
person you last chatted with, part
as if of the content of last chat will be
shown.
2. Key in your nickname for the
chat, and press OK.
3. Key in your message, press
Options, and select Send.
4. The reply you receive from the
other person is displayed above
the message you sent.
To reply to the message, press OK
and repeat step 3 above.
To edit your nickname, press
Options and select
The chat messages you send
are indicated by "<" and
your nickname; the ones
you receive are indicated by
">" and the other person's
nickname.
