    DVANCED PERATION Programmable Function (PF) Buttons The VX-2100/-2200 Series includes six Programmable Function (PF) Buttons. The PF button functions can be customized, via programming by your VERTEX STAN- DARD dealer, to meet your communications/network requirements. Some features may require the purchase and installation of optional internal accessories. The pos- sible PF button programming features are illustrated below, and these functions are explained on the pages to follow.

    Press (or press and hold) the assigned programmable key to delete the Current Memory channel from the Scanning. In the VX-2100, when you delete a channel, the decimal point “.” will disappear from the Channel Number Indicator.
