    Connecting an AV receiver To enjoy Dolby Digital or DTS surround sound, you need to connect one of the DPC-7.7 digital audio outputs to the digital input on a Dolby Digital or DTS decoder or an AV receiver with built-in decoders.

    DPC-7.7 is connected. If you’re using a hi-fi amp, AV receiver, or surround sound decoder for audio playback, turn that on as well and select the audio input to which the DPC-7.7 is con- nected. Connect the power cord to a suit- able wall outlet.

    • The Last Memory function may not work with some DVD-Video discs. • Even if you select another disc, or inadvertently turn off the DPC-7.7 during playback, you can resume playback from the same point when you select the disc again.

    If that fails, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet, wait 10 seconds, reconnect it, then try turning it on again. On your TV, select the input to which the DPC-7.7 is con- nected (page 24). Check the video cable and correct as necessary (page 18).
