Have you verified that
the scan window(s) is/are clean
POOR/NO READING
Enter Scanner Diagnostic Mode by
holding the Volume/Tone Push
Button for 4 seconds (until first 3,
and then 6 rapid tones are sounded)
then release. Scan a known-good
bar code.
A good read is
signified by one
flash of the LED
and a single

beep .
Reset the scanner by
holding down the
Volume/Tone Push Button
for 8 seconds.
If unexpected data
is being sent from
the host to the
scanner, consider
enabling the
programmable
feature Ignore Host

debug the system.
