Basic adjustment settings
AV mode selection
This option links to "AV Mode" in the Picture menu. (See
page 22.)
Audio adjustment
For each selected AV mode, you can adjust the
following three items: Treble, Bass, and Balance; to
your preferred setting. After choosing the AV mode
you want to adjust, next carry out audio adjustment.
Press MENU and the MENU screen displays.

NOTE
• For resetting all adjustment items to factory preset values,
press a / b to select "Reset", press ENTER, press a / b
to select "Yes", and then press ENTER.
• When headphones are in use, "Surround" cannot be
selected.
• "Surround" can be selected for each "AV Mode" setting.
• "Balance" cannot be adjusted when "Surround" is set to
"On".

Surround
When you set to On, you can enjoy surround sound,
the same as if you were in a movie theatre.
Using SURROUND on the remote control unit
Press SURROUND to switch the Surround function
on and off.
Selected item
Makes it possible to enjoy natural, realistic

Off
Outputs the normal sound.
Using Surround on the menu screen
You can produce Surround effects from the "Audio"
setting.
