The Sharp Aquos LC-42X20E TV uses an Advanced Super View & BLACK TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. If the color quality appears poor when watching football, possible issues could include:
1. Signal Type Mismatch – Ensure the input source is correctly set to match the signal type of the external device (CVBS, Y/C, or RGB). 2. Incorrect Video Settings – Adjust the TV’s picture settings, including color temperature, contrast, and brightness. 3. Weak Signal or Poor Broadcast Quality – If watching over an antenna, check the signal strength and ensure proper cable connections. 4. Motion Blur or Refresh Rate Limitations – Fast-moving content like football may appear less sharp if the TV’s refresh rate is not optimized. 5. DVB-T Reception Issues – If using digital TV, verify that the channel reception is stable and not interfering with color quality.
Adjusting the TV settings and ensuring a strong signal may help improve the color quality.
