9 Securing the Child
• There are three height adjustment positions for the shoulder harness straps. Adjust the shoulder straps to the closest height of your child's
shoulders by threading the end of the shoulder harness through the seat.
• Ensure that BOTH shoulder straps are attached to the waist strap buckles. See Figure 9.1.
• Unlatch both sides of the waist buckle by squeezing the latch releases.
• Place the child in the seat with the shoulder straps over their shoulders and the crotch strap between the child's legs.
• Attach the waist belt to the harness. See Figure 9.2. Tighten the waist/crotch/shoulder belts to be snug around the child's waist/crotch/
shoulders.
• Both the shoulder straps and the waist/crotch straps may be adjusted using the sliding buckles on these straps. See Figures 9.3 and 9.4.
NOTE: To reinstall the 5 point harness, first attach the shoulder straps at the correct height position by pushing the plastic ends through the
slots in the seat back. Next, attach the crotch strap to the seat bottom by pushing the plastic end through the slot in the seat bottom. Finally,
attach the waist straps by pushing metal ring ends through the slots on the lower seat back and then attaching the rings to the lower seat
back frame. See figures 9.5 and 9.6.

• Close the canopy.
• Put seat into the most upright position.
• Make sure both rear wheel brakes are set to their locked positions.

• Attach the top Velcro® straps on BOTH sides of the rain cover to the side frame tubes.
• Attach the bottom Velcro® straps on BOTH sides of the rain cover to the legs of the stroller.
