USING THE PRE-SET SPEEDS
Turn Dial to one of the 6 desired functions, i.e. Mix, Wet Grind, Mince, Blend/ Whip, Dry
Grind or Ice Crush. These pre-set functions were developed and tested to perform each
one of these functions.
Press the "On" Button to start preparing your food until you reach the desired
consistency.
Press the Off Button to stop the Motor and turn unit off.
NOTE: Function selection can be changed during operation by turning the Dial to the
desired selection.
USING THE 6 SPEEDS CONTINUOUSLY
You may select among one of the 6 speeds to perform the task according to your own
preference and to follow instructions from your recipes.
If you wish to use one of the 6 speeds continuously, simply turn the Dial to one of the 6
speeds and then press the "ON" Button to start. Once you achieve the desired result,
ress the "Off" Button to stop the Motor and turn the unit off.
USING THE PULSE FUNCTIONS
For more controlled blending or mixing use the "Pulse" function. First turn Dial to function
or speed selection and then press and hold down the "PULSE"
Button located in the center of the dial for desired length of time. Release and allow Blade
to stop. Repeat cycle as desired.
MANUAL RESET BUTTON
If unit stalls, if blade jams or stops turning, press the "Off" button, let it cool down for a few
minutes. Remove Jar from Base, turn Base upside down and push the Reset Button.
CAUTION: Operate only with the cover in place.
TIPS
• When using liquids, put liquids in the Jar first, unless a recipe says otherwise.
• Crushing ice: Crush 6 ice cubes or approximately 2 cups of ice at a time.
• This Appliance has been designed to gently process foods when operating at low
speeds. If blades do not rotate during operation, simply choose a higher speed.
• Do not remove the Lid while in use. When using the 1.5-Liter Jar and the 750-ml
Stainless Steel Jar, remove Feeder Cap to add ingredients.
• Cut all firm fruits and vegetables into pieces no larger than 1.8 cm (1/2 inch) to 2.5 cm
(1 inch). Cut all kinds of cheeses into pieces no larger than 1.8 cm (1/2 inch).
