Operation
Do not expose the unit to rain and moisture of any kind.
Operate the unit only if the electrical voltage indicated on the
identification label is compatible with the voltage of your power
outlet. Incorrect voltage may destroy the unit.
To avoid water penetration, never place a flower vase etc., on the
unit.
Do not open the unit.
Pull the mains plug if the unit is not in use for an extended period
of time.
Ensure that the mains cable does not project a tripping hazard.
This unit is classified as a category 1 laser unit.
The corresponding tag may be found on the outside surface of the
unit. Laser rays may cause damage to eyes. Please pay caution to the
following:
Do not open the unit under any circumstances. Do not attempt to
disassemble the unit.
To avoid endangerment: Maintenance should be performed by the
manufacturer or their customer service only.
Select a safe location to ensure safe operation of the unit. Please pay
caution to the following:
Protect the unit against environmental forces.
Protect the unit from moisture.
Do not place any container filled with liquid substances i.e. vases,
on top of the unit.
Never place the unit on top of or in the close vicinity of heating
sources such as i.e. heaters, ovens, etc.
Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight.
When placing the unit ensure the location provides adequate
ventilation to avoid heat accumulation inside of the unit. Ensure
that ventilation slots are not blocked.
Protect the unit from mechanical percussions.
Always place the unit on a sturdy flat surface.
Protect the remote control against environmental forces, moisture
and extreme temperatures ( i.e. direct sun light).
Do not use the unit while driving a vehicle.
The unit can display a freeze frame for unlimited time on screen.
This can cause damage to the screen. Activate the screen saver a
Page 73, "General Setup" menu.
Do not adjust the volume in the event a low volume segment
is rendered. This may cause damage to the speaker if suddenly fol-
lowed by a high volume rendition of a following segment.
To avoid damage to the unit place only CD's or DVD's into the
designated slot.
