Filename Rules
When naming files stored on a memory card, the
following rules apply:
• The file name can contain both ASCII and
Unicode characters.
• File names up to 32 characters long, including
the file extension, can be displayed by your
handset. File names up to 255 characters long,
including the file extension, can be read by your
handset. If a file name is more than 32
characters long, but no more than 255
characters long, your handset displays an
abbreviated name for the file, but does not
change the name of the file on the memory card.
