Fuel
Mixture Instructions
WARNING
Never
fill the
gasoline tank
while the
engine is
hot.
Wipe off any spilled
gasoline
before
attempting
to
start
engine.
The correct oil-to-gasoline ratiO is 20:
1 (20parts
regular gasoline
to 1
part oil). Too much
oil will
cause carbon deposits. Too
little
oil
or
a
poor mix
will cause insuffiCient
lubrication
and
possible
engine damage.
IMPORTANT: Gasoline and oil should
be mixed at
temperatures
'
above zero.
At temperatures below
zero gas and oil
mix with difficulty.
Fuels containing additives
are not recommended for
use in Ski-Daddler engines.
For
mixing
with
gaso-
line, use
AMF-nondetergent
oil
prepared
exclu-
sively for use in air-cooled, 2-cycle engines.
IMPORTANT: Some outboard motor
oils contain a
detergent that
works well in
outboard
motors that
operate at much
lower temperatures because they
are
water
cooled.
However, the detergents may
cause spark plug
fouling in the
air-cooled engines
used on Ski-Daddler snowmobiles.
Use a mixture of gasOline
and
oil
as shown in the
Fuel Mixture Chart.
Neve'
r use gasoline left over
from
the
summer or
previous winter.
