Telephone operation

Temporary ringer silencing

When the telephone s rngng, you can temporarly slence the rnger of the
handset wthout dsconnectng the call. The next call rngs normally at the
preset volume.
To silence the handset ringer:
Press OFF/

CANCEL
Ringer muted dsplays.

Temporary tone dialing

If you have pulse (rotary) servce only, you can swtch from pulse to tone
dalng temporarly durng a call. Ths s useful f you need to send touch-
tone sgnals to access your telephone bankng or long dstance servces.
1. Durng a call, press
2. Use the dalng keys to enter the number. The telephone sends
touch-tone sgnals.
3. The telephone automatcally returns to pulse dalng mode after you end
the call.

Find handset

Use this feature to find all system handsets.
To start paging:
Press /FIND HANDSET on the telephone

telephone s not n use.
2. All system handsets ring and flash
** Paging ** for 60 seconds.
To end paging:
Press /FIND HANDSET on the telephone base once and then release.

handset to stop the pagng tone.
Do not press and hold /FIND HANDSET for more than four seconds.
It may lead to handset deregstraton. If Not registered dsplays on the
handset, refer to Troubleshooting on page 29 to regster the handset to
the telephone base.
Multiple handset use (for CS6114-2 only)
You can use both handsets at a tme on an outsde call.
To share an outside call:
• When a handset s already on a call and you would lke to jon the call,
