Memory match

When the ncomng telephone number matches the last seven dgts of a
telephone number n your drectory, the screen dsplays the stored name of
the drectory entry.
For example, f Lnda Jones calls, her name appears as Linda f ths s how
you entered t nto your drectory.
The number shown n the call log s n the format sent by the telephone
servce provder. It usually delvers 10-dgt telephone numbers (area code
plus phone number). If the last seven dgts of the ncomng telephone
number does not match a number n your drectory, the name appears as t
s delvered by the telephone servce provder.
Review the call log
CID when the handset s not n use.

You hear a double beep when you reach the begnnng or end of the call log.
View dialing options
Although the call log entres receved have 10 dgts (the area code plus
the seven-dgt number), n some areas, you may dal only the seven
dgts, or a 1 plus the seven dgts, or a 1 plus the area code plus the seven
dgts. You can change the number of dgts that you dal from or store to
the drectory.
Whle revewng the call log, press # (pound key)
repeatedly to show dfferent dalng optons for
local and long dstance numbers before dalng
or savng the telephone number n
the drectory.
Press 1 repeatedly f you need to add or
remove 1 n front of the telephone number
before dalng or savng t n the drectory.
When the number s shown n the correct
format for dalng, press
handset to call the number.
If you have programmed the home area code (see page 12), only the last
seven dgts of the ncomng phone numbers from that area code wll be
dsplayed whle revewng the call log. Press # repeatedly to dsplay all
possble dalng optons.
