Periodically inspect each tool for loose bolts, bent or damaged components.

Regularly wipe down and clean each tool to keep it in best condition.

Occasionally tighten the many hinge points of each tool.

When not in use, store this tool in a dry place, protecting it from wet or
corrosive atmosphere. Protect this tool from accidental damage by placing it
in a storage area away from other work or traffic.
