  • Page 3 SECTION ONE: ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS INSTALLING THE STAINLESS STEEL TRIM PIECE: The stainless steel chimney trim piece slips over the smokestack. Please put this into position before installing the chimney cap. It slips over the smokestack. INSTALLING THE CHIMNEY CAP: The chimney cap screws into the mounting bracket inside the smokestack and should only be hand tightened.
