FOREWORD
Model 7403 has been designed for safe, quick, easy removal of paint from
clapboard, porches, masonry steps, patios, walls, etc.
NOTE: This tool is shipped completely assembled. With the exception of the
auxiliary handle, no assembly time or tools are required.
AUXILIARY HANDLE
An auxiliary handle (to be mounted on either side of the gear housing) is
supplied. Use this handle to provide complete control of the tool. To attach
the handle to the tool:
DISCONNECT TOOL FROM POWER SOURCE.
1.
Slide one of the washers (B) Fig. 2
and a hex spacer (C) Fig. 1 on the
bolt (A) Fig. 2.
2.
Place the collar (D) over the hex
spacer. Select either the left or
right handle boss (A or G) Fig. 1 to
install this assembly.
3.
Align and seat the hex spacer into
the hex socket of the handle
boss.
4.
Place the other washer (B) Fig. 2
on the bolt and secure it with a hex nut (E). Tighten securely.
5.
Thread the auxiliary handle into the collar.
