IF AFTER INSTALLING A NEW CARBONATOR INTO THE
SODA MAKER YOU HEAR THE SOUND OF LEAKING GAS:
• T here may be a pressure leak between the carbonator holder
and the valve. Screw the carbonator tighter into its fitting.
IF YOU EXPERIENCE POOR CARBONATION:
• C heck if the cylinder is nearly empty.
• V erify that you are carbonating chilled water.
IF WATER OVERFLOWS FROM THE CARBONATING
BOTTLE DURING CARBONATION:
• C heck that the carbonating bottle is filled to just below the
fill line.
• V erify that the carbonating bottle is firmly installed in the
bottle loader. Check by gently pulling the bottom of the bottle.
IF YOUR SODA IS NOT FLAVORFUL ENOUGH:
• E nsure that you are filling only to the water fill line and not
above it.
• Just add more flavor to taste!
• DO NOT recarbonate after adding the flavor.
WARNING: If you suspect your soda maker is damaged, stop
using it immediately and call SodaStream Customer Service at
1-800-763-2258 in the U.S. or 1-877-436-5866 in Canada for
assistance.

Adapter
If using a 14.5-ounce (60-liter)
carbonator, make sure the
adapter is securely in place
at the base of the carbonator.
Failure to use the ring may result
in poor carbonation.
