NOTE: When the Cake Pop & Donut Hole Maker is heated for the first time, it may emit
slight smoke or odor. This is normal and should disappear after 1 or 2 uses. This does not
affect the safety of the appliance. However, as it may affect the flavor of the first cake
pops/donut holes prepared in the Cake Pop & Donut Hole Maker, it is recommended
that these be discarded.
2.
While preheating, prepare cake batter.
3.
When the green READY light illuminates, (allow 2 minutes) the Cake Pop & Donut Hole
Maker is preheated.
GENERAL CAKE POPS & DONUT HOLES BAKING PROCEDURES
1.
Generously brush both the lower and upper cooking plates with vegetable oil to assist
in the removal of the cake pops/donut holes after baking. Depending on the recipe,
some cake pops/donut holes may be more difficult to remove and may require a heavier
application.
2.
Use 2 teaspoons to add batter to the Cake Pop & Donut Hole Maker (one to add,
the other to push batter into Maker). Add 1 heaping teaspoon of batter to each
of the 6 cake pop/donut hole molds. (See Figure 2.)
NOTE: All 6 cake pops/donut hole molds do not need to be filled when using
the Cake Pop & Donut Hole Maker.

IMPORTANT: Do not overfill cake pop/donut hole molds. Cake pops/donut holes
will expand when baked. Results may vary by recipe.
After batter has been added, use the lid handle to lower the top lid. The lid latch
will lock into position. Bake for 5 to 6 minutes.
NOTE: The green READY light will cycle on and off as the unit maintains baking
temperatures.
