Before using your Cake Pop & Donut Hole Maker for the first time, wipe the cooking plates with a damp cloth to remove all dust, and then dry. Wipe outer surfaces with a slightly damp, soft cloth or sponge. -

Meijer.com NOTE: As cake pops/donut holes bake, steam will be emitted from the Cake Pop & Donut Hole Maker. This is normal. After 5 to 6 minutes, wearing a protective oven mitt or potholder, press the lid latch in the lid handle, and lift the top lid to the open position. Allow to cook (opened) for 1 additional minute. -

Is there a way to re- secure the top metal plate to the lid? It is loose and when you lift the lid, the metal plates want to stay together and the top lid wants to pull away. The screws seem stripped and won’t budge. Time to retire the maker?
