Sets the desired display language. It is possible to select from
12
different languages. Default setting is english.

Emergency Call OK
Messages or SOS number
The phone number or the message for the SOS function can
be stored here. If no message is entered, the SOS number will
be dialed (normal call). If a message is defined (up to
160 characters long), the SOS message will be send to the de-
fined SOS number. After SOS messaging, the message is
stored in the message list (refer to Menu: Messages starting on
page 40).

Delay
The phone number or the message for the mandown function
can be stored here. If a message is entered, the mandown call is
a message call, otherwise it is a voice call. If no phone number
is programmed, the mandown function is disabled.
If Auto Anwer is activated (""") and a mandown call is an-
swered (incoming call), the handset automatically activates the
speaker (hands-free mode). Otherwise an incoming call will be
rejected while the handset initiates a mandown call. Delay
specifies the time that must elapse before the mandown call is
executed. Within this period of time the mandown call can be
cancelled only by pressing the Esc softkey. It is not sufficient
to place the handset in an upright position again.
Note: If the handset is reset, the mandown function is de-
activated. However, SOS number and message text for the
mandown call are not deleted (refer to Resetting the Handset
starting on page 52). If the handset is switched off, the stored
mandown configuration remains unchanged.
