Monitor

button and rotate the command

is displayed in the monitor (note that these
autofocus modes differ from those available in

Choose an autofocus mode.

Check the view in the monitor.
To magnify the view in the monitor and check focus, press the
~
button.
Press

to zoom in up to a maximum of 6.7 x, or press
~~
to zoom out. While
the view through the lens is zoomed in, a navigation window will appear in a
gray frame at the bottom right corner of the display. Use the multi selector to
scroll to areas of the frame not visible in the monitor. Press
®
to exit zoom .
Monitor Brightness
Monitor brightness can be adjusted by pressing the
[B
button while the view through the
monitor is displayed. Press A or T to adjust brightness (note that monitor brightness has no
effect on pictures taken in live view mode). To return to live view, release the
[B
button.
