  • Page 6 General Carefully read the following instructions before use. • The Trust 740C PowerC@m Zoom does not require any special maintenance. Use a moist soft cloth to clean the outside of the camera. • Do not use aggressive substances, such as petrol or white spirit, to clean the camera.

    Follow the steps given in the Quick Installation Guide Note You can also use rechargeable AAA type NiMH batteries (minimum 700 mAh) in the Trust 740C PowerC@m Zoom. Do not use NiCd batteries. Tripod The stand supplied with the camera can be used to keep the camera stable. It is recommended that the tripod is used when using the self timer, if there is not much light or if it is being used as a webcam.

See Figure 1 and Table 1 for a description of the various functions on the front of the camera.

Automatic: The normal setting for the camera. This is usually the best choice. Daylight: For photos in sunlight.

    TRUST 740C POWERC@M ZOOM 11.4 Self timer The camera has an automatic exposure function which gives a time delay of 10 seconds before the photograph is taken. You can use the automatic self-timer function to take a photograph of yourself.

    Table 10: Other settings Recording video clips The Trust 740C PowerC@m Zoom can also be used to record short video clips at 10 frames per second and with a resolution of 320 x 240. The video clip will be saved in AVI format.

    TRUST 740C POWERC@M ZOOM Viewing photos and deleting 13.1 Selecting view mode Note After taking a picture wait a few seconds for the internal working to be completed before changing to playback mode. The Playback mode allows you to view photographs and video clips saved in the memory.
  • Page 19 TV. Inserting/removing memory The Trust 740C PowerC@m Zoom has a 6 MB internal memory. By default, photographs and video clips are saved in the internal memory. This memory can be extended with an SD (Secure Digital) or an MMC (Multi Media Card) memory card.

    There is little you can actually do to stop this. 16.1 Installing the Trust Photo Upload software This software can be used to upload your photographs to the Trust Photo Site. N.B.: The latest version of the Trust Photo Upload software can be downloaded from the Trust website.
  • Page 22 TRUST 740C POWERC@M ZOOM 16.2.2 Using the Trust Photo Upload software Start Trust Photo Upload from the Windows Start menu (Start – Programs – Trust – Trust Photo Upload). Use the ‘Explorer’ to select the photographs you wish to upload. You can use the buttons on the right-hand side of the Explorer to select photographs, deselect photographs, view photographs, edit photographs, etc.
