About the automatic power saving function
This unit complies with the European Energy-related
Products Directive (ErP) . In order to comply with this
EN
directive, the default automatic power saving function
has been set to 30 minutes, so the unit will enter standby
mode automatically if 30 minutes elapse without any
operation or audio output .
Ending standby
Press any button (other than MUTE or VOLUME) on the
main unit or the remote control to turn the unit on again .
Setting the automatic power saving function
When no disc is loaded in the unit, press the Stop/Eject
(8/-) button on the main unit for at least three seconds
to turn the automatic power saving function ON or OFF .
The current setting is shown on the display .
Display when automatic power saving function is ON
Press for at least three seconds .
Display when automatic power saving function is OFF
